IKEA curtains & a bit of sewing

I was waiting to find the right curtains for my bedroom - inspired by this

 so a couple of cheap ikea curtains and a small amount of sewing and i got this....

upcycle

i never wore this green vest but really love the colour of it, so thanks to a friends idea of an upcycle/craft morning i got to work - I love the results and i had a lovely morning with friends at the same time!!

Project Tuesday

I have been looking for bedspreads for the youngest girls rooms for a while, but one is expensive let alone 2 and they are both in little beds so they are not something we care gonna have forever! - SO i decided to buy material to make a throw for each to unify the look of the room and the already lovely things that are in  it! - i was delighted to find a king size fitted sheet in pink gingham for 5 euro! woohoo!!!

i cut it in half, took out the elasticated corners , sewed the raw edges and voila!! - i think they look really cute and it means the beds look neat and tidy( the way i like them)!! - so that is the result of project tues this week! and it took about 45 mins!!!
